OH, YOUR BEAUTIFUL MIND.
Your mind is the battlefield, gorgeous girl: your perspective is everything. Life post-pandemic has all of us talking about mental health. The reality is that it's real: what we feed our minds guides our footsteps. What we think about, we actually become. There is power in that boldness -- you can do anything you set your mind to accomplish. I've decided to carve out part of my day to devote to mindfulness. I don't have it remotely together, but I do want to document my journey. My hope is that these personal growth stories help drive positivity & mindfulness.

HAPPINESS OR JOY?
There is a big difference between happiness and JOY. In fact, what the world shows you on a daily basis is not even close to the real thing. Don't you want something real? I do.
Happiness focuses on feelings, and joy rests in truth. It is fixed on a foundation outside of yourself. For me, it's my Creator: the One who designed me for a purpose. He gives hope on good days and bad. I'm learning that until my focus shifts off of myself, I will be attempting to fill an emptiness that nothing can fill.
